Membership in South Carolina DBE

For over 35 years, the DBE in South Carolina has provided a common link for women of British heritage. The society offers the opportunity for good works and for companionship with those of shared heritage and interests.

DBE membership is extended by invitation to women of British or Commonwealth birth or ancestry, and to women married to men of British or Commonwealth birth or ancestry.

DBE activities are geared to the professional working woman, homemaker, mother, and daughter. Junior membership can be given to eligible girls aged 13 to 18.

Our current membership consists of ladies from all over the British Isles and beyond, in addition to women married to British men. Membership covers a wide variety of ages.

We will gladly arrange to drive you to a meeting - or meet you there – as is your preference.

For more information, contact State President, Christine Barlow.

We will be very pleased to make your acquaintance.

Redcoat Chapter held a combined “Summer Sensation at the Museum” fashion show and DBE 100th Anniversary Celebration at the Upcountry History Museum, Greenville in May 2009.

All proceeds benefitted Mountbatten House assisted living home and Cancer Society of Greenville County.
